Lunch at Quay is a tranquil haven from the bustle and noise of the city. It doesn’t get much better than a two course lunch for $75 or three courses for $95 prepared by the best chef in Australia, in the best location in Australia, with complimentary parking at the front door and staff who are happy for you to either while away the hours in languid luxury or help you get to your next appointment on time.
The lunchtime menu includes Quay signature entrées such as Peter’s intriguing sea pearls and delicate crab congee, and a slow cooked quail breast with pink turnips and truffle custard. Mains are a culinary tour de force with such dishes as South Australian Mulloway and Peter's famous crisp pressed duck confit kabu turnips, winter melon, hasuimo, garlic chive buds, sea scallops, duck juices
For those who choose the three course option, there is the famous eight texture chocolate cake and Peter’s legendary snow egg on offer.
